Learning Digital Marketing from Scratch: Buffering Begins.

I had been thinking about starting digital marketing for a long time, you know when something keeps on popping up every time you scroll, and everyone seems to understand it… except you. Yeah, that was me.

People were talking about SEO, funnels, strategies and I was there like, “I don’t know what it means but it sounds expensive” I had absolutely no idea what was going on. Then one day, I stumble across an ad claiming it would teach a full digital marketing course for free. For free? Sounds dodgy.

Now listen. The internet and I? We do not trust each other like that. So of course I paused. Looked at it. Looked at it again. Probably squinted at my screen like that was going to reveal the scam because ‘free’ usually comes with a pricey plot twist. But curiosity won and I signed up cautiously. And surprisingly or rather shockingly, it was actually free. Which is how I accidentally found myself at the beginning of this whole digital marketing journey.

So, I invite you to join me as I figure out what funnels, SEO and analytics actually mean, because at this point, they sound like things I should understand but I don’t, yet. This journey will include a few unnecessary restarts and moments where I zone out mid-lesson and come back like I have just been dropped into a completely different course.

One minute I am following along… the next I am thinking “Who is this? What are we doing? Is this still the same lesson?” So, if you are also figuring things out, welcome. We will be confused but at least we will be confused together.
